I would so be interested in this. I'm essentially doing the same thing on T-mobile's $30 prepaid plan with google voice anyways. But then again, you know, Sprint. And when the whole thing requires a decent data connection to make a call, I can see where there may be some very serious issues.

I would defiantly use Republic Wireless if they used Verizon or AT&T's LTE/3G networks and had a larger selection of phones.

Did someone say Sprint? They will lease to almost anyone nowadays. Heaven forbid one travels where they do not have coverage, which is almost anywhere there is not a metropolitan area or major route or highway.

Yup. Yet another Sprint based MVNO. 🙄 Someone wake me when a new Verizon or AT&T MVNO starts up

Republic just uses sprint when there is no wifi available. Your supposed to use this mostly where you have wifi. home, work, starbucks, McDonalds LOL but ya sprint is the back up if you are using more sprint then wifi they can take you off their service.

Lastly I can picture myself scrambling to look for a Wi-fi signal when I have used to much Sprint so I do not get kicked off their service. 🙄
