Cheaper. Smaller. Faster. No excuse for not including more memory in new phones!
Recent phones have been disappointing with the lack of memory and/or ability to expand memory.
HTC Droid DNA , HTC One X/One X+ , and LG Nexus4.
...
Not to mention the Droid DNA...
...
The first phone I mentioned was the Droid DNA. SMH. 😕
...
Yea lol the DNA is sad. The x+ has 64gb already right?
...
Personally , expandable , removable memory was one of the selling points ( along with removable , replaceable batteries )
for Android OS over IOS.
A memory card slot is always a benefit in my opinion.
...
Eh. Id rather have just 64 internal. It plays nicer with everything. some apps dont like being installed on a external card...
...
You can still have the internal memory and just choose not to use the expandable option.
With the direction that manufacturers and Google have been steering Android toward , you'll be forced to use their online storage which is affordable or free now , but what about the future?
To me the telecom industry and the entertainment industry wants us to go toward a business model more like the cable industry , where consumers used to record and control their devices with no fees to DVRs and on-demand which are controlled by the content provider with fees included.
...
Yeah, supposedly that thing is suppose to very a high-end phone.
Verizon is probably going to have HTC put out a 32GB version later, who knows when.
...
Release a phone with very limited memory onboard , then after a few months change the color and add some memory and BOOM! You have a "new" version.
...
Yep - and they'll slightly change the name to something they think is clevar, like.. the DNA+, or the DNA Double-Helix edition. Naw.. thats too smart for them.
