That is 1 sexy looking beast! But alas, 16GB of storage with no SD card slot. #FAIL

Makes no sense that the Butterfly J does though.

Is it possible that the DNA is limited to a measly 16GB's due to Vzn's influence?

Replace "influence" with "demand" and you have it right. I have that on good authority.

HTC has been making a lot of stupid decisions lately, that isolate potential customers, that sway people towards the Galaxy S3, like the non-user accessible batteries & non expandable memory!
Really stupid decisions!

Just wondering then, why would they let a phone like the Maxx HD through? After all it has the 32 GB and expandable. I have mine with a 32 GB card in it as well.

Where is the difference?

I don't know. I'm just passing on what a source within HTC told me. They don't know why, either. Just that it was Verizon's decision.

I think that's just it. Motorola. Verizon is in bed with Motorola and doesn't want yet another phone upstaging the RAZR line. Cause we all know iPhone 5 and GS3 outsell the RAZR's as it is. Adding another phone most likely to do so as well might piss off Motorola. Just a theory.

Hmm... very very true. I know I definitely would have taken back my Maxx HD and exchanged it for this phone if it included the storage space that the Maxx has. Those are some really great features. Plus, I love HTC Sense so much better than the Moto's UI.

Then again, maybe not. The battery life was a huge factor in getting the Maxx.

Verizon and Motorola are basically BFF's. Hence the heavy "Droid" name usage of Motorola devices on Verizon. It's apparent Verizon will gimp any phone that will bring any contention to the Moto Droid line.
