Only 16GB Memory?

You would think with a beast of a phone sporting HD screen and extremely high MP Cameras in front and back, with the intent of taking HD movies, that there would be at least 32GB maybe even 64GB onboard memory for this device. If not, 16GB will cover it, if HTC included a Micro-SD Card slot for 64GB cards. Otherwise, this is just limiting the phone and its user. Which in my eyes is the only thing wrong wit the device, other than it being on Verizon and not Sprint, which is notorious for carrying HTC products more than Verizon.

With todays cloud services, 16GB should be enough. Maybe they were trying to keep additional costs down? Who knows. All I know is that I have a 47" LCD TV that is 1080p and it looks daaamn good. I can only imagine seeing that on the 5" screen this thing has. Retina killer right here.

Speaking from personal experience with my HTC One X, it isn't anywhere close to enough.

Unfortunately, I rarely have access to the cloud, when I'm in the clouds...

Now I am limited to what media I have access to when I'm flying from LA to NYC. Better pick one movie, and hope I like it, huh?? Just a very, very poor decision to put such a ridiculous limit on such an incredible phone. Hell, I've got a 64gb in my Rezound!!

I'm also out in the field for extended periods of time with limited access to electrical outlets, commonly in buildings that have very poor reception, which crushes the battery of any phone. I hate the fact that I can't simply swap the battery on the fly if I need to.

So close to the perfect phone, but someone dropped the ball on this one... BIG TIME!

As someone here on PS previously stated, Sprint needs to focus on rolling out LTE before obtaining more devices subscribers won't be happy with because of poor network speeds.

Sprints business plan was to sell LTE devices before LTE was even established 😛 They were selling a few LTE devices before LTE got launched in a few markets.

Ask Verizon. HTC would gladly make a 64GB version of this with a memory card slot (trust me) but that's not what Verizon wanted.

Exactly! They WANT you on one of their data plans, and they want you paying for it (using a cloud service, using up your data). Thats business!
