Rugged , weatherproof , and completely uncompetitive , the Sony Xperia Advance is anything but! Available in an assortment of colors that you wouldn't want.

It's a horrible phone for the price point. Look at that screen resolution! My gameboy has a better screen than that!

If I was in the service industry I would get it. just because its rugged & it Android. I would say that would be the market for it. Or someone who breaks a lot of phones. & I don’t think you would need to worry about some punk stealing a yellow phone.

Just trying to find the market for it.

I wouldn't feel this phone would be good enough. You have the Casio G'Zone, and you have super rugged smartphones from the company Sonim. Compared to other ruggedized phones, like even the Galaxy Rugby, this phone just isn't worth it.

The only problem I see with those other devices,(& I think they are pretty good) Is that a lot (Not all)of MRM applications are not supported on them. I also dont know how well those other devices stand up to water. I will say this, I have the Sony Ion, & I like it with ICS. (I won it in a raffel) its not perfect, but I do like some of the new Sony phones. They got better since they dropped Ericsson. That does not go without saying there are a lot better phones out in the market.
