Music phone designation?

Ok, so you slap on a regular headphone jack and an FM transmitter, along with a little scroll wheel, and you get to call your phone a music phone? I don't see why this phone can be labled a music phone, but new MP3 capable phones (Sanyo 5600, Samsung P777/A800) don't get this much hype. So far, I see nothing very special in this design, other than the nice addition of a scroll wheel and FM transmitter. If it's priced anything like the V3 Razr, I'll take my A800

it's designated as a music phone because its primary focus (other than phone calls of course) is on music. There's no camera, no bluetooth, no e-mail, no QWERTY, none of the stuff that typically comes with other MP3 playing phones. The P777 for example includes a 1.3 megapixel camera. There's no FOCUS per se. This Moto is built to do 2 things...make calls and play music. That's it. Hence the "music phone" designation.

sorry, I take that back, there is a camera, but it should be noted that they didn't splurge for the Megapixel model. Probably more as something that's becoming a standard feature than anything substantial.

It's music phone because you'll be able to buy and download music from the carrier. You'll also be able to listen to music on demand.
