first american CDMA phone with an FM transmitter?

I honestly think it's the first phone PERIOD to include an FM transmitter. Course don't quote me until someone confirms, but I've not heard of any others.

The Sony Ericsson K700i and Sony Ericsson S700i both have FM transmitter's. There may be one or two more Sony Ericsson's which have it, but I can't be sure. As far for those two, they do. 🙂

I know Korea has phones with fm transmitters, i have accounts with sprint and verizon, this has got to be the first phone avalible for either company with one. Sony needs to make more CDMA phones, sony owns just about every other part of my life.

Sony itself doesnt make cell phones any longer. As for Sony Ericsson, they made one CDMA phone and then left the CDMA market to focus solely on GSM.

The Nokia 6225, which was out last year, was the first CDMA phone with and FM radio, as far as I know. Please correct if wrong.

There's a difference between having an FM radio on your phone and having an FM transmitter (modulator). The latter would allow you to play your .mp3s through your car's FM radio by tuning it to the preset station that the phone transmits on, for example. Like an aftermarket CD changer, you just tune it in on your FM radio, the CD changer plays music through your car stereo without a wire connecting the two. I don't think the 6225 would do that.
