😳 So moto now has a slider, but I don't find it as sleek and sturdy looking as some of the other sliders out there, it looks like it's going to come apart, just my thoughts about it.

Your comment should not have been posted. The image of the phone is OBVIOUSLY computer simulated. You should NOT make just a bold statement about the phones quality until you actually see it. SPECULATORS BEWARE!! 😡

this image is not computer simulated. it is the honest to goodness press photo of the real product, which both Rich and i have held in our hands. you will also see more live pictures of it from Rich later. if he feels it looks less sturdy, gtb_atj is certainly entitled to that opinion. the true test will be the final build quality, obviously.

T am sorry, but the picture of this phone, on the front page of phonescoop.com, does NOT look like a real phone to me. the pictures at the link below are REAL:

The picture you supplied doesn't have the same realism to it. It looks like those simulated phones that are used on the manufacturers websites. If the picture is in fact real, then props to the person in charge of photo editing & retouching.

Here - I will speculate too.
The phone appears that, if you push the little red button twice in succession, you can fling the top half of the phone out like a projectile, and knock out anyone who can make an assumption on a (no offense to the editor) small, hard to see picture.
Oh, and always judge books by their covers....saves you sooooo much time.

Yes I so have 'some nerve' to post my opinion about this phone, and that is the whole point of having a forum, for people to speak out on new products. But just from looking at the photo, computer generated photo or not, it just looks less sleek compared some of the Siemens slider phones. Also the top slider part looks like it could come off easily. But the specs of this phone look pretty good. But that is just my opinion on this phone at this current time, like it or NOT!!

From the pics I saw of the phone, it is big. THe hands holding the phone were MAN hands... men do not have tiny hands. Verizon definately needs something different. The quipment they have had recently kinda blows!

i removed the post because they were getting personal. i had not intended my post to be taken that way. i thought i was stating facts without being patronizing, however i was wrong.
we try to delete any posts that are personal attacks. my post was seen as a personal attack (condescension) and so i removed it and thus the two replies fell off.
feel free to repost or let me know so that i can repost the two replies. however since matt_719's comments were also personal, i hope you will paraphrase those.

I was staing my OPINION about the quality of image of Moto's Slider posted on the frontpage of phonescoop.com vs howard forum pictures of the slider. My view was that the pictures on Howards website & Rich's website looked quite different in terms of realism. If you feel that this is too personal, then that is your opinion. I am through having this dispute.
