T-Mobile will deploy LTE 10 which will be able to upgrade to LTE-Advance by a software update.

Verizon is using LTE 8 (I do believe) that to upgrade to LTE-Advance it will have to do a hardware and software update for their towers to be upgraded. So T-Mobile's LTE network could easily be the first LTE-Advance network

LTE-Advance allows for even lower latency and faster network speeds than LTE. Similar to how H+ is a upgrade in the 3G realm.

Thank you for the information. So yes - LTA-A would be like... 4.5G. Suck on that, Verizon.

Thtat's true - but if they had stuck with wimax they would have much larger coverage right now. I just think it's hilarious, the Verizon commercial where they have the graphical representation of the carriers LTE coverage and the T-Mobile column is completly blank. Once they do roll out LTE-A (and they will) that commercial will really bite verizon in the ass.

Do you happen to know what Tmo's timeline is to have their entire network overlayed with LTE? I'm researching Tmo, currently with Verizon, I found out to transfer my 3 lines it would be $50/mo cheaper with Tmo, and I would get more!
Unlimited talk/txt/web for $189.
