In an industry where manufacturers seem to have little regard for the problems of the end user it is refreshing to see a carrier stand up to them on behalf of their customers.

Kudos T-Mo!

Kudos T-Mo!
Then again they are rewarding HP by releasing another Windows Mobile device fresh on the heels of the 6315.

H6315 is pretty buggy (especially bluetooth part)
now a "hacked" update is released
of course, install this "hacked" ROM is taking own risk, and will void warranty

You might get upset with me for saying this - but I really liked my HP Pocket PC . . . that is until it started crashing every day. It did everything that I could want from a mobile device (except mine was just a Pocket PC - so no phone functions). The only problem was that it wasn't particularly stable.

I had an iPaq (PDA only) and it was pretty good except for one thing. The power management was trash. I you did not close each individual program (a hassle) before shutting down, the device would try to sustain the RAM and eat away at the battery. If I left it off for two weeks without charging it, I would lose all the data. Fortunately, I used ActiveSync frequently.

It's interesting you mention that, but Windows 98 used to do that all the time as well...it'd get hung up indefinitely and wouldn't allow you to turn off your computer.

And that's unforgivable in this day and age. Shame on HP and Microsoft for making crap.
