(The Internet) - In a press release Tuesday, a consortium of approximately 2 billion professional retailers and individual entrepreneurs have announced the availability of a complete end-to-end solution for connecting MicroUSB phones, music players, and other devices to a standard USB port on a PC, USB-type power outlet, or other accessories designed for the previously-mentioned devices. The device sells for as little as $2 with free shipping, but may cost more if the buyer opts for gold plating or expedited delivery. Consumers who have recently purchased a device requiring such a cable will find one inside their existing product packaging and do not need to perform any additional action.
