No one complained? Hell, I complained. I've been complaining about proprietary phone connectors for almost as long as I've owned cell phones. The switch to standardized ports (namely Micro-USB, but also to a lesser degree the Mini-USB before it) was one of the best things to happen to the mobile industry (personal opinion).

That said, Apple will get hell for this for a little while, but then everyone with a new Apple product will have the new chargers and probably a handful of adapters and it will become much much less of an issue. I still think it would have been a better decision to go Micro-USB, but I understand that that would be against Apple's style to conform to industry standards. Whether one finds that to be a good or bad thing probably depends on your 'alignment'. Honestly, if Apple fans don't mind making the switch, I'm not going to complain. Doesn't hurt me either way XD
