2 Billion Sellers Now Offering $2 Complete USB-to-MicroUSB Cable

by Globhead    Nov 6, 2012, 10:46 AM

(The Internet) - In a press release Tuesday, a consortium of approximately 2 billion professional retailers and individual entrepreneurs have announced the availability of a complete end-to-end solution for connecting MicroUSB phones, music players, and other devices to a standard USB port on a PC, USB-type power outlet, or other accessories designed for the previously-mentioned devices. The device sells for as little as $2 with free shipping, but may cost more if the buyer opts for gold plating or expedited delivery. Consumers who have recently purchased a device requiring such a cable will find one inside their existing product packaging and do not need to perform any additional action.

For more information, consumers can go to an Internet search engine designed to be compatible with their USB port and search for "micro usb cable" (without quotes).

An earlier version of this report indicated that more information could only be obtained via the use of an Internet search engine specific to the consumer's USB port. In fact, any Internet search engine can be used and there are no known compatibility issues between USB-related Internet search strings and any known physical USB port brand.
