"People, especially on this site, will "jump ship" for anything and everything that comes along. RIM has a good chance here."

This is key, people buying smartphones these days are extremely fickle, I know people who upgrade every 12-18 months and who have bounced around from one platform to the next, first an iPhone, then an Android phone, then maybe a Windows Phone, there are even weirdos like me who are just aficionados of mobile technology and who will therefore just randomly buy a phone they don't really need just for the fun of trying a new platform....which is why I bought the unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus from Google back in May and am considering buying a Nokia Lumia 920 at the no commitment price......so long as the first Blackberry 10 phone is impressive enough to get people interested, they are by no means out of the game.
