My laptop running Windows connects to my home network which connects to my Xbox360 , PS3 , Galaxy Note etc.

Easy access to my media.

Why would I want a device that makes life less convenient?

It is just like when they initially released WP7 Microsoft tried to convince us that copy & paste is not needed. I have not used any Windows Phones so take my comment with a grain of salt. I am an Android user but I am also rooting for Microsoft as competition is good for the consumer. They are starting on a wrong foot.

On that note, not all Android phones support it either, nor is this a required feature for everyone. There may be some WP8 devices that will be out at a later date that does. But until then, this feature alone, should not keep people from buying any WP8 that will be soon available. It's a great OS, albeit, not perfect.

No phone will have or do everything that everyone wants it to do.

Yea. Eventually if enough people cry they will add it. It doesnt say anything about not supporting anytype of media streaming technology it just doesnt include any right now, so dont throw it out out. Either way its not a killer feature for me. my next phone is still a windows 8 phone for sure.
