The better question should be who cares? Nothing will change. Apples business practices will go on exactly the way they have been. This is not noteworthy.

Exactly.

Nothing will change. Apple's philosophy is: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." so don't look to any UI changes to either iOS or OS X any time soon

Aah...you left out a part.....Apple's motto is 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it, and if it is broke, pretend it isn't and blame the user' 😁 :

Note I am posting this on a Macbook Pro....I don't necessarily hate the products, but I do hate the policies and arrogance of the company that makes them...

I beg to differ. There will be changes now that responsibilities have changed hands. Just look at your workplace, every time a new manager comes in there are a ton of changes. Who knows why these people left but the biggest complaints toward Apple are Maps and a stale OS in iphone and Mac.

Actually I wouldn't say that the Mac OS is 'stale',,,,the problem is that with Lion and Mountain Lion Apple is aggressively pushing the OS X towards being more iOS like....and very few people like the direction that it is going...moreover, Lion and Mountain Lion are both very buggy......I think most Mac users agree that the last decent version of OS X was Snow Leopard....

Forstall was the main head that was controlling iOS and made the announcements at all the events for anything iOS related. Now Jony Ive (the guy who designs every Apple product) is now in charge of iOS and implementing features and ideas.

I heard that Forstall refused to sign the apology letter for the Apple Maps fiasco. Sounds like corporate seppuku!
