Besides is the nexus line that popular that they can afford to do that and get away with it. sd slot aside. 16gb is weak but come on google. 8gb is just laughable now.. most new higher end phone have at least 16 base and a good chunk now with 32 internal stock.... that nokia 920 looks better everyday....*

Just because it's a pure Google experience, doesn't mean the manufacturers don't set the pricing of the phone. These phones tend to have some of the latest offerings in hardware (with the exclusion of LTE on this one. The reason of that is beyond me though.) LG pooped the bed with this phone. How is this supposed to be like the LG Optimus G that has LTE, then release the Nexus 4 device that has no LTE?
