Complain about the price if you want , but right now can you get a GNII on another US carrier ? If you go to a T-Mobile forum the complaints are for selection ( premium handsets ) and expanded coverage. As far as price , would you complainers switch to T-Mobile if the price was lower ?

Ok, first of all I worked there. Second coverage is really based on where you live. Third it sucks for customers in the USA here in PR price plans are lower and coverage is getting better. Not where it should be but getting better. I learned while working there that the best rates come from the Loyalty department. No upgrade fee, No S&H, $50 credit on the phone $5.00 off for 12 months. Annually a $10 goodwill credit. Download $100 in games and call before it is billed and the charges get whipped out. Many things done in Loyalty to retain the customer but if you don't threat to cancel none of this gets out there. T-Mobile is not the best company by far so selling this phone at $369.99 is ludacris. Every other major company so far $299.99 and ...

You would be a fool for accepting a $10.00 goodwill credit. Goodwill credits are provided once per contract and if you accept one, you will not be provided with another one unless your billing problem is a glaring T-Mobile error. I have seen customers that accepted one for $10.00, but then get data roaming overage of like $300.00. Normally for a good customer we may be able to credit half of that, but due to previous goodwill, they get 0. In that situation, if they say that they want to cancel, we will transfer to retention, but retention will not offer them another goodwill credit. They may get a credit for a new handset, or for their upcoming monthly bills, but as for a previous overage, they'll get zero.

That's when the call accidently cuts off and you call again then the next rep will most likely be able to help you. It depends what state your call goes to how they operate I know this because I worked there and that's the way it always was. One state may help you and the next one might not. Or sometimes in the same state just the next rep will help you.

Well they obvi didn't care about my business because I threatened to cancel on two separate occasions a few months back after I was getting very conflicting answers when it came to upgrading my device.

They didn't do anything to try and keep me happy so after the second time when the guy said he couldnt do anything for me, I ported my number over to VZW 30 minutes later. Oh well, their loss.

The reason you were probably getting conflicting answers is because I think T-mobile has a call center in Arizona and one in Guatemala or something. One is competent, the other is not.

It was more than that though. I got four different prices between two people in call centers, a local store near my house, and online. It was ridiculous.

Yes, they have call centers in different areas and one in Puerto Rico. It always depends on your tenure example. Your last upgrade was 10 months ago then you can get bumpped up to the 1 year tenure. Example 2 you have 16 months since your last upgrade you can get bumpped up to the 18 months tenure. Last example you have 20 months since your last upgrade you can get bumpped up to the 22 months tenure upgrade wich is full discount.

Hope this helps
