You would be a fool for accepting a $10.00 goodwill credit. Goodwill credits are provided once per contract and if you accept one, you will not be provided with another one unless your billing problem is a glaring T-Mobile error. I have seen customers that accepted one for $10.00, but then get data roaming overage of like $300.00. Normally for a good customer we may be able to credit half of that, but due to previous goodwill, they get 0. In that situation, if they say that they want to cancel, we will transfer to retention, but retention will not offer them another goodwill credit. They may get a credit for a new handset, or for their upcoming monthly bills, but as for a previous overage, they'll get zero.
