sd slot?

Seems not. This phone had huge huge potential, but with no sd slot, the 4GB will seem tiny. Even if it does have the cloud storage, it's not enough. This phone could have been a contender!

Window Phone OEMs never built SDslots, except for Samsung. My original Focus has microSD slot and I've run a 16gig microSD card from week one of purchasing it, two years ago. Its not that it doesn't support it, there was too much confusion about which brand worked properly, so other OEMs never made it accessible to the consumer. Although, SanDisk seemed to work best.

With that said, Samsung is still the only one that seems to be supporting it on the new WP8 devices. The only thing is, I dont know if you can store apps on the microSD. I think it will only allow media and document files. But, that's just my opinion and not based off anything I've read.

As for this phone being a contender, it was only supposed to be a way for MS and Nok...

The folks at engadet tells us that there is NO expandable memory, and at 4GB it only allows about 2.2GB of user storage(perhaps for docs and such)
The video review demonstrates how the OS keys at the bottom of the device are actually physical keys and not capacitive, I suspect this being the case since its targeted to those who are new to the smartphone world; in a sense that they may press the capacitive keys by accident since they are not used to such elements on a handset.

Correction: when talking about the physical keys, I was wrong, they are on the 710 for T-Mobile, sorry about that.
