Samsung Hits New CDMA Highs
the a790 is sprints!!!
The new A970 I held tonight had a Get It Now logo on the d-pad, so it's almost certainly headed for Verizon.
I did ask (of course ๐ ), and the answer was no, but the Samsung guy I asked wasn't 100% sure.
Any Feedback about the phone. How Was the Graphics, Sound and Camera Quality. Does it have a good speakerphone. I was told it even was able to record up to 1 hr of Video.
So I can't answer any of those questions. Sorry - I certainly wish I could! โน๏ธ
This phone could save the Verizon-markrogo relationship if small enough.
You're going to love this, though - I actually broke out my calipers and measured it. ๐ The size is:
95 x 51.5 x 25.5 mm
That includes the camera bulge on the left near the hinge. I also measured below the camera bulge, and got:
95 x 47 x 25.5 mm
So there you go! ๐
As for how it feels, I'd say it feels a bit big, but still smaller than the SPH-A800 or LG VX-8000. But that's just from memory holding each phone at different times... totally unscientific. I could be wrong.
I'm not even a little interested anymore.
And I'm very confused that the mfrs. don't recognize that some of us got very spoiled by their small phones and would like new ones in that category.
Even the A670 is large by the standards of phones I've carried over the past 5 years!
Of course, somehow in Japan they do get this, so maybe the fault is with US carriers.
