We're not talking about the A(FIVE)70. We're talking about the Samsung A(NINE)70. But it's rumored that Verizon's got it. I know, I know! I'm a (sad) Sprint customer too ! 😢 But I'll definitely consider switching once this phone comes out! No loyalty here!!! 😉

No, no...it's actually the a570 that I want. The a970 looks like fun, but it's probably too big for my taste.

The SCH-A570 is for Verizon. It turns out that's the same phone as the A720. When it was shown off at CES, it was called the SCH-A720. (Check out the CES article on this site for more info and photos.) It was simply renamed A570 to better reflect where it fits in the lineup (it's a low-end phone).

I guess I shouldn't have been so crazy as to think that Verizon would have a phone that's so awesomely small. I love my a530, and I've been on the hunt for it's successor. I'm crazy about small phones with no camera, and refuse to buy anything larger than my a530 or switch carriers. Any idea as to the size of the Verizon a570? Hopefully something a530 or smaller, with no camera will come along at some point.

The A570 and A560 (the new model numbering makes much more sense, since they are very similar phones) are pretty small. Not quite A530 small, but very small nonetheless.
