Maybe with the price they paid for the iPhone - but I'm pretty sure the iPhone has brought them a lot of converted customers.
Almost everyone to have a cellphone, has a cellphone. The only way to gain more users, is to convert them. You can have whatever opinion you'd like about the iPhone, but there's no denying it's selling power. The amount of iPhones that get sold, along with accessories from them, has got to be crazy.
What people are willing to do for that phone makes you wonder how Apple does it.
Sprint getting the iPhone was probably one of the best decisions they've ever made. Initial costs will be high - but the long term payout is definitely there.
