It's a mutual benefit - why would you decline it? Softbank has a lot to offer Sprint - and Sprint needs the funds.
Sprint made a bad decision with Nextel - same with Wimax.
Out of ALL the wireless carriers, Sprint is the lesser of the evils out there.
So they are making a big comeback. They were (still are) strapped with a lot of debt that is holding them back. Now they're going to be freed of that. It's a comeback - simply put.
