You're right, I misunderstood. I had not seen them post about SoftBank operating a CDMA network. But yes, you are right, going forward any compatibility issues will work out via LTE investment from both compatible network technologies, but at the same time, SoftBank investing in Sprint could come with the bonus of swapping out EVDO for HSPA+ giving Sprint an advantage over Verizon fall back. Personally I welcome foreign investment where the mistakes of Voda/Verizon aren't repeated and Sprint has a more world compatible 3G/4G network and certainly one that is mutually beneficial to Sprint and T-Mobile, of which both could compete against Duopoly but also share some Network Vision investment.
