I'm happy with the stellar service I get with Cingular GSM in Orlando,FL, and the fully functional bluetooth phone I have!!!

what is up with GSM? 👿 i too am in a strickly CDMA service area, and i love it. why with all the GSM, give me something i can use.

GSM is the dominant technology at the moment in the world...granted it's only because it's gov't mandated in Europe, but that's the way it is. If CDMA were more prevalent the manufacturers would put out more CDMA equipment.

Not to mention I'm pretty sure CeBit (the show where this debuted) is a European show...seriously doubt there's gonna be much, if any, CDMA coming out of it.

Actually I think the only reason it is government mandated is that there was no CDMA(or was in early developement) when they started building their GSM network.

I think that once Europe decided on GSM, they wanted some congruence across the line.
