Absolutely. Choice is a great thing. Our country is based on it. Then corporations became all about profit, not about what the customer wants. Sure they have to give some choice so they come out of it looking that much cleaner but only just the right amount so they do not cut their own throats.
GSM is GSM with SIM cards already. CDMA handsets cost more already so I do not see the issue with making them with C-SIMs. Every time you change a device, even on the same carrier, you do not have to re-enter the phone book all over again.
