Srich27 Essentially its just a matter of a few tweaks on existing equipment, no major changes required. However, MetroPCS has since day 1, as vikes pointed out for the sake of the spectrum crunch, allotted their LTE coverage almost exclusively for VoLTE coverage, and so on Metro's LTE network you barely pull 3G data speeds, nothing at all in comparison to the big 3 or even TMO's HSPA+. So doing away with VoLTE (even if its just for now) and focusing on TMO's desire to have LTE (which I dont even understand, their HSPA+ is fast as if not faster than current LTE speeds provided, and even if they switch, the 1700 band doesn't allow for roaming anywhere in the world except for with ATT, but I digress) would be paramount to giving up entirely on what WAS MetroPCS.
