It means they'll wear their pants low, have lots of bling, and only speak using slang. Call tech support, they'll answer "Yo, you be callin T-mo, what cho need, homie?"

I have heard that Metro is damn near that bad, except its the automated CS and not even a live person doing it.
Reading numbers like "Nie Fie Fo, Tree Eight Seben Six"

Fortunately I see no reason for the merged companies to utilize their terrible auto-CSRs and will likely stick with TMo's better customer service.

Actually, nm, I suddenly realized while reading through the rest of the comments that I was thinking of Boost Mobile, not Metro.

.....IGNORE MEEE.

If you call Boost mobile, you will learn what they mean.
Unprofessional, immature terrible customer service!
Other word crappy service!

Thats what you get with Pre paid.... As for this merger it sounds good for Tmo customers not sure about Metro never used it. They will have a broader range of coverage where Metro is already present. I believe this will be a win win situation with both to expand their coverage for both Voice and LTE. It will all take time tho so you can really say fail or win just yet. We will see when the transitions start happening.

If the continue to use T-mobiles customer support & tech's they have a chance. if not this will fail.

Well they would still be two separate companies even tho they would be sharing the network. So again if you want pre paid you are going to talk to some rude folks. So if you are concerned with that fork over the big bucks and get on a post paid plan.

Actually I work for a wireless carrier, so I am not worried about paying any fees.
Also, you are correct, you do get what you pay for. I tried Metro for about 2 weeks. From what I saw, there was no difference between their customer support & Boost customer support. If they work good in your area, Great! If not Other carriers have prepaid options as well.

I agree. T-Mo's customer service is among the best. This is not Sprint or Boost Mobile were talking here.

😛

Not much I can do when Sprint pulls the strings. I do as I'm told, just wish there was common sense behind their thinking about everything. The department I work in is broken as hell.

Um wow, what a CLM (Career Limiting Move) there Haggard... Hope you're hiding behind a few proxies there buddy... Or you got some serious marbles there buddy!

Guess you kind of forgot about the Social Media and Internet Blog policy in iConnect.... OUCH!

If you work at a vendor site or indirect you should be safe as there is little to no accountability or recourse to 3rd party employees.... Otherwise this is a tough economy to be so flippant on a nonsense thread... Just saying ...

I work for a vendor, not directly through Sprint. We're fine here. I've voiced my opinion on Sprint multiple times.

I'm on my way out soon though, It's time for a change.

As I said, vendor employees can speak freely but alas I cannot. I am bound and gagged... I even shutter to think what was the fate of the last Sprint employee that made a direct reference to Dan Hesse's poorly done and extremely obviously botched hair plug job..

You'd think for $11,000,000.00 annual income he would of done some research and not cheaped out on the procedure.
