Basically your phone will be voice only with SMS capability and that is about it.
It is not recommended since you will not get any SW upgrades or A/S for illegal usage.

i dont have verizon i was just curious, and why would it be "illegal" to use this phone on verizon?

But many of them do not have English menus, or have incomplete English menus.
Also the process is not easy. You need to know all the right codes and special programming modes.
Also most of the advanced features - including Internet, games, MMS, and even caller-ID - will not work. Pretty much all you get is basic voice service. (Which kind of defeats the purpose of having a high-end phone like this.)
And finally, you will not get Verizon's full coverage area. All Korean phones are incompatible with American CDMA 1900. In certain areas, that's not a problem, in other parts of Verizon's network, that could be a big problem.
