So the phone is still going to have a Quadcore with LTE? I wasn't aware that there was any Quadcore LTE phones out just yet.

Yes. the optimus G is also supposed to be announced to i think that also will have a 4core and LTE. there are a number of phones companies have shown as prototypes with a quad and LTE but this seems like this might be coming out soon.
