Fortunately for Samsung the suit has nothing to do with bull**** "UI and Trade Dress". Unless something has drastically changed since the last time I read up on the case. LTE patents are tech patents that are far different than 'wah, their phone looks mildly similar to ours'.
Not that I wouldn't prefer these things to simply be licensed out of court. I'm as tired of hearing about the lawsuits as the next guy, but trying to equate the two as you did is trolling at its finest (and as such somehow wasn't surprised when I saw it was you, bluecoyote)
I'm a little curious what Apple offered to pay for the licenses. Assuming they offered to pay anything for them and didn't just slap an LTE radio in their phone assuming they had the right to use it.
