I don't care what anyone thinks, this last OS release from crApple was sloppy sloppy sloppy. Irregardless of the maps fiasco there were so many errors and problems it made a mockery of the whole 'it just works' mantra. Shameful..and yes, we have crApple in our house (lovely wife, what can I say lol). 'Da bean counters are slowly gaining control.

Apparently you don't know what "carrier settings" are.

But what he said isn't false, both iOS 6 and the iPhone 5 have received the harshest and most negative reactions ANY Apple product has gotten since at least the Newton...people who aren't already die hard members of the Church of Apple generally regard the 5 as 'an epic fail'...that's just a fact...I am participant in more than a dozen online tech communities, and I've seen the iPhone 5 called everything from 'Apple's Windows Vista' to 'Apple's Phantom Menace'

I've heard nothing but great things with the 5 of the people who currently have it and another co-worker that hates everything iPhone was more than pleased with the 5's offerings when playing around with it. I don't know where you are getting your info from, but it seems it's not a fail as you are saying. iOS6 could have been better though, but it is far from being the worst iteration of the OS. iOS1 would be the worst to me..no app store being for starters.

He was actually very wrong, because this is in regards to issues in the article where the carrier information that was provided to Apple wasn't correct, hence why it is a carrier update not an iOS update. He is blabbing on about maps when this article has nothing to do with maps. Fol...

Judging by you jumping on every Apple post that PS posts, shouldn't you be here posting something about Apple deserving to be sued (although no details as to what they supposedly infringed upon has been provided, but I'm sure you can use your imagination and try to pass off personal opinion as facts like always.)

eh. based on what i been able to play with the new iphone 5 i just wasnt impressed. The 4 was nice and the 4s had siri which was kind of cool but the 5 seems like they really needed to do something to slow the andriod train and they just didnt. the phone still feels like a nice high qulaity phone and the itunes store and media player cant really be beat in my experience but with the new andriod phones coming out i just wouldnt put my money in the iphone basket. (NFC is going to take off, thats just a matter of time i feel and they shoulda have been pioneering that if i was apple)

I do wish NFC made it into this iteration, I'm hoping for whatever comes next that it does. It would be cool if NFC finally started taking off, it makes me wonder if Apple actually implemented it into their phone, it would start taking off faster.

I haven't had much experience with the 5, only with a friends for 10 minutes or so. I was impressed with the Camera and the speed of it. It's a hell of a lot faster than the 4 that I have, and takes way better pictures, plus it would be nice to have an LTE ready phone along with HSPA+ that the 4 is missing. It's a great upgrade from the 4. Would I upgrade from the 4S to the 5, more than likely if I was due for an upgrade. My co-worker went from the 4S to the 5 and noticed the speed boost as wel...

I just on every Apple post for the same reason I jump on every Android and Blackberry post...because these are products that I use every single day.....I've been using Apple products since I owned an original Apple II purchased in 1977, I know them intimately, and my love/hate relationship, or perhaps more accurately love/hate/hate relationship with Apple is the product of more than three decades of experience with their products....I've been using Blackberries since 2003 and Android since 2010...these are products I know fairly well...

While I've never been an Apple zealot, there was a time, back in the Apple II days, when I used Apple computers exclusively and would not use anything else.....most of my negativity towards the company comes from negative experience, and my increasing disgust at Apple's increasing arrogance....Apple likes to claim that its feces doesn't stink...and that their products 'just work' .but I spend just as much time problems with my Macbook Pro as I do with any Windows PC I own..and Apple products are equally frustrating as any other technology product....

These days it's more of a hate/love/hate relationship, but it isn't blind, it's based on bad experience..

All I've seen from you is all negative about any offering by Apple.

You probably wake up each morning hoping Rich or Eric writes an article about Apple so you can voice your input that isn't towards the article in any way at all.

Do you have something to offer other than insults and personal attack? Because that's really all you ever seem to post here, and not just towards ME either....you are consistently one of the rudest people on this boards.....you adopt a tone of arrogance and condescension towards pretty much everyone....

Is it REALLY so hard to believe that someone could use an Apple product and yet not believe that it is perfect with absolutely no flaws?
If the mere fact that I don't worship Apple means I cannot possibly use any Apple products, well.....it's sad that you actually think that...I see no provision in the T&C of any Apple product which says that using their products means I am forbidden from ever criticizing the company and am obligated...

I find it hard to believe someone that despises a particular company and still ends up "buying their products".

What I say may come off as rude, but I at least back up my statements with truth and facts, not personal opinion. You spout off all these asinine comments, of course someone is going to talk sideways to you.

Even when you say iCloud is a service that is half baked and on it's way out, you then contradict what you say that it functions just fine..
