Verizon/ATT vs CCA

I see the CCA (formerly RCA) attacking AT&T a lot harder than Verizon. Verizon has more spectrum in total than AT&T.
Verizon has enough spectrum nation wide to have 4 national networks, while AT&T does not have enough for 2 complete national networks. Although they have in major cities enough spectrum to have 3 networks (even though in places like New York they have to refarm some spectrum to bolster the LTE network).

Bottom line is that it's fashionable to attack at&t, it's not fashionable to attack Verizon....and Verizon will be praised for doing things that at&t is bashed for.....it's kind of like how when Apple does something, people praise it, but when Microsoft does the exact same thing, people condemn it.....people are easily led sheep....they tend to act reflexively rather than rationally...

Verizon is more diplomatic in their requests. Their direction may not be any different, but they know how to ask with a please and thank you. Where as AT&T is more demanding and deceitful. However, I don't support either's actions to try and monopolize the spectrum holdings.

John is correct, and it works in other areas too, I know if its off topic but similar aspect, if the Seattle GB game situation was reversed, there would have been a day or so of complaints and it would have ended. Green Bay has a large following and remarkable how a small market can have a competitive team with a positive fan base from all over. So people scream louder.

More diplomatic?

We will have to agree to disagree, on that one.

I think it's more of, Verizon squires and puts it to use quicker, so people tend to be able to tolerate that more. Where ATT, seems to hold on to things and then try to rollout piece by piece kind of thing, opposed to releasing large numbers of markets at one time. Its all smoke and mirrors, as far as I'm concerned. Blue or red pill, Neo. Make your choice.

Yeah, I know. Had a geek moment but, that's what comes to mind, when talking about how Verizon is perceived in doing what they due, verses how ATT is perceived in doing things.

We're not disagreeing my friend.

If you read my post, you will see I don't approve of either carrier's antics. We must also agree that Verizon is just better at playing the game to manipulate. A game that isn't any different than AT&T's. The quicker Verizon capitalizes, the faster they can start reaching for our pockets.

It's ok to be a geek. Look at me. 51 years old and still can't get away from these drug induced forums. 😁

Yeah, we'll have to disagree. Verizon is hoarding spectrum that it will never put to use.

Sort of how Verizon was able to get the Alltel deal done. Less arrogance and more money to grease politicians palms. Honestly, I thought both deals were equally ridiculous. I mean...Verizon violated its agreement not to touch Alltel for ten years following the Verizon merger and it was like no big deal. Little wonder that AT&T figured absorbing T-Mobile would be a piece of cake.
