actually I agree with him, I have friends on TMO and they complain all the time. But it could be my area. We have the same phone, while its rare for him to have decent reception, on my phone I would almost alwaya get full. We both have the same phone, same firmware too.

Where there's coverage, there's reception. Tmobile's got South Florida covered very well, making the carrier an excellent alternative to Verizon and CinguATT.

I must admit I am glad I dont know you muchdrama...If we died and were standing in front of the Lord and I commented how white and pretty the clouds were you would probably scream " THE CLOUDS ARE NOT WHITE, THEY ARE EGGSHELL YOU SOB!!! I'd imagine if they work fine in your area then you won't drop calls. If not then you should find another provider. Why are people so fascinated about X company having some giant network. Are you going to travel to all of those different places? most likely probably not. Where I live, every carrier is the same. They all have great coverage. For ME it comes down to data/messaging plans. Also the ease of being able to switch phones whenever I want is a big factor too, so that rules out CDMA for me. Which leaves cingular and TMobile...which ultimately comes down to T-Mobile who I feel has the better plans. It's really as simple as that... 🙄

I'd guess it was because 1800 and 900 were already licensed to other types of devices/services? The same reason they didn't go with the 700 mhz band to start with instead of 800, because TV had the 700 mhz band.
