You are right, RIM really doesn't have positive momentum in the US marketplace. It's an extremely important market to have too.
My point was really to point out a broader picture that many on phonescoop don't believe. RIM isn't done. They may be in the future, in the US, but not now as a worldwide company thats still growing subscribers.
US consumers are funny sometimes. We seem to "jump ship" for just about any little reason when we hate something on a device, OS, or carrier and go on to something else. Thats why RIM has a chance in this marketplace because its so dynamic.
