We think it would have been better if [Apple] had kept ours. But what do I know?

Anyone else hear the snark in that? I can only imagine Schmidt sitting in a big office somewhere giggling to himself. Can't say I blame him. I'm not going to **** talk other people's choice of OS, but I really think Apple shot themselves in the foot by dropping Google Maps. Every iOS user I know is wildly disappointed by iOS6 and down right upset at the loss of Google Maps. A couple are even switching ecosystems and planning to get the new Nokia in the following month or so (likely not JUST over Apples maps sucking, but that was a huge complaint they had when they were talking about the change of heart)

That less than a week after its release people are clamoring for a GMaps app is telling (has iOS6 been out less than a week, or was that just the iPhone 5?)
