Google needs a strict policy that no product can be released which is more than one version behind...if the current version of Android is X then nothing can be released unless it has at least X-1.
I mean, look, after Windows 8 is released you'll still be able to buy a new PC with Windows 7....but you won't be able to buy one with Vista, XP......many of these Android phones are the equivalent of rushing out and buying a brand new PC with Windows 98.
