Seems ATT is trying to make use of a service that has not done to well for them in the past. It will be interesting to see how these other features will make their service as good or better, than Sprint's.

It hasn't done well for them because they have few PTT phones and their PTT service was vastly inferior to Nextel's...but with Nextel folding the time is right to upgrade the service and see if you can snatch up some of the former Nextel customers....

Probably, whenever the last article about the upgrade PTT was published....in short the reason why at&t has never made much from PTT is because they've never really invested in the service enough to make it worthwhile....now that they ARE investing in it, it should be better

I would agree. Now that they are going to have more phones that will be capable of using the service, it should motivate more people to actually want to use it. I am curious how that service will work on PC, though.
