ITC Judge Finds Apple Didn't Violate Samsung Patents
Domestic Industry Question for Eric.
Does not Samsung manufacture anything in their own country and does Apple manufacture their phones here in the states?
I'm not sure of the patents in question but, it seems that Foxconn was overlooked in the manufacturing of Apple's devices which would make Apple just as invalid to meet the requirements.
Any info would be appreciated.

I too, am not aware of any manufacturing by Apple state side. Depending on the patents in question, I'm not sure on the verdict. If none of Samsung's related patents are manufactured in the states, that is certainly a strike against them. However, if Apple's related patents are not as well, I don't see the logic. Apple is a US company with no manufacturing in the homeland. I presume this does not fall under Domestic Industry requirements.
I can only deduce that because Apple is a US company, that this is how it's judged. It appears to be a loophole.
