Is something wrong with Verizon, they are the most greediest cell phone companies. I figured Verizon model would be like AT&T were if you have Share Data you could facetime free. But GRANDFATHER UNLIMITED PLANS GET TO USE FACETIME FOR FREE!!! Are you sure that is not a typo?

This would be wonderful news Verizon had LTE unlimited data 2Gb of 3G data!!! Which will never happen

Doesn't VZW require you to change off unlimited when you upgrade? Or if you want to keep it you have to pay full price for the phone.

Yes, they do. So anyone getting the iPhone 5 @ the 2-year contract price will have no option other than to give up their unlimited data plan.

They will have the option to pay full retail price to keep the unlimited data, but very few will take this options.

So, for VZW to say they won't charge extra is a bit disingenuous -- they will still be raking in the data overage charges at $10/GB. And with FaceTime HD, unless you are on WiFi, that data will burn through very quickly.

Then they have only themselves to blame for being short-sighted. Clearly if Verizon is going to such extremes to separate consumers from Unlimited Data on LTE then consumers would do well to keep it by any means necessary.

Yeah, not gonna happen.

Unless you pay full retail price for the phone, you will not have the option of keeping your unlimited data plan for the iPhone 5. Ever since VZW introduced the Share Everything plans, they said that unless you pay full retail price for a phone, you will have to give up your unlimited data plan if you upgrade devices.
