The version that Apple specifically didn't make was the T-Mobile USA edition. Also known by it's codename "middlefinger". Too bad for T-Mobile. Crying or Very sad

Won't matter too too much. Once T-Mobile finishes migrating their 1900mhz spectrum to HSPA+, the data speeds on the devices will be just fine.

When T-Mobile launches LTE in their 1700/2100 AWS spectrum the GSM model A1428 should work on LTE.

GSM model A1428

LTE (Bands 4 and 17)

IV (4) AWS, "1.7/2.1 GHz" Canada, Latin America, US (AT&T, T-Mobile)

XVII (17) Lower SMH blocks B/C (700 MHz) US (AT&T)

In the mean time it will be 3G UMTS 1900 as they upgrade their 1900 network around the country.
