Apple Reveals iPhone 5 with Larger Display and LTE
Isn't this a bit of a walkback by Apple?
There are quite a few examples of Apple being the follower from the 3GS on, and we'll be saying that again next year when they add NFC support.

In fact, surveys show that some women prefer huge phones like Note (phablets). Why? Because they've given up trying to hold most of today's phones with one hand, so they figure they might as well just go for phone that's designed to require two hands.
But there are plenty of women who haven't given up and need something they can hold with one hand. And plenty of us guys that want something pocketable.
Not a bad business practice. But as we have seen through their thirty year history, even with very low marketshare they didn't care about consumer choice. Offering no more than anyone else and charging twice as much. They would just as soon go bankrupt before sacrificing some profit margin.
Eventually, history will repeat itself. It has been said that Apple cannot continue to sit back and rely on consumer attraction to the brand name. They must continue to innovate. So far, other than Siri( and I use this technology example loosely), nothing has been groundbr...

Apple phones appeal mostly to the non-techie majority who are satisfied with an operating system that is nothing more than a glorified app launcher.
Innovation and hardware specs are for people that actually understand what the different processors/chips are, and what they mean for performance. iPhone users just want more "GBs".
