Where Did Century Tel Get Spectrum?
Can someone explain exactly when and where Century Tel acquired this spectrum from? I thought they sold all their wireless assets to Alltel years ago to avoid a hostile takeover.

They sold those assets to Alltel in 2002.
They purchased AWS spectrum at auction in 2006.
They also bought 69 700MHz spectrum licenses at auction for $149M in 2008:
