I am an experienced Phonescooper and user of logic; I know this will be subject to preference.

Which device do you think I should get, thus is better, the Cingular 8525 or the Treo 750 (after the HSPDA upgrade, of course)?

I have been there and made that choice. I had the Tytn (8525) and it is powerful includes WIFI etc.

I switched in a heartbeat to the TREO 750. The form factor can not be beat. Ever try to dial a number one handed from the portrait screen on the 8525 (it either fingers or stylus.

Also I could not handle opening and closing the slide out keyboard. I need my keys man.

They modifications to the Treo make it so I do not need the stylus very often.

I have used both the 8525 and the treo 750, and I like the 750 hands down!!! The internet is pretty fast on both devices even if you aren't in a 3g area. The treo is just easier to handle and even though it isn't a palm os it still has a palm feel to the layout and menu. I think you would be very happy with the 750. Good luck!

The new desktop interface upgrades and form factor are two huge pros in the 750 column, as are the new IM style sms/mms folders. On the other hand it is infinatly easier to compose email on the 8525 . The screen resolution and size are also huge winners for the 8525 camp. The pixelated look of the icons/ graphics of the 750 simply turned me off... The 750 is nice but not ground-breaking by any means. I cant justify the price of switching devices when in my opinion it would be a lateral move, not an "upgrade". Ill keep my 8525. Thanks for reading =)

I don't own either, but I've gotten to use both pretty extensively. They're both good, but I'd take the Treo over the 8525. Why? The Treo is lighter, and you can really tell the difference. Although they're relatively the same size, the Treo feels nicer when you're holding it.

One note though: If you're going to be doing A LOT of typing, I suggest the 8525. The keyboard on the Treo is fine, even for long messages, but the 8525 feels nicer and it's more comfortable to type on.

Hope this helps 🙂
