For once we have a good example of a bad implementation, and there are no bluecoyote comments pointing out how bad this phone is. I guess a phone is only worth trashing if it is nearly flawless and stands to cause Apple lots of trouble.

Well I do think the fact that LG is no longer copying the iPhone but now copying the Galaxy Note is a sign that Apple is losing its mojo.

Just becuase they're making a tablet with an off aspect ratio does not mean they are "copying" another product. If you want to go that far, then apple is blatantly copying the tablet design from Star Trek. Maybe Gene Roddenberry should rise from the gave and sue apple, hmm ?

How long has it been since you could get a smartphone with a stylus? 8 years? Do you think that if the Galaxy Note hadn't been such a big success that LG would be looking at re-introducing the stylus? Maybe, but I doubt it. That's fine, I like the stylus....but Apple supposedly proved that styluses were 'obsolete' and no longer needed, indeed, on The Big Bang Theory they make fun of the stylus....it's allegedly 'absurd'....but Samsung has made the stylus cool again....

Oh - I definately agree with you. A stylus is great. Great for people with fat fingers, like myself, to make typing on the tiny screen easier. Doesnt the nintendo DS have a stylus too? Great functionality there! Also the HTC Flyer has a Stylus if I remember, and that is a great tablet.
I think people think of a stylus as really, a teritary or non-required accessory, or something that is easy to lose, break, etc. I use the dollar-store stylus I have all the time, and it works great on all my devices.
