Re: Occam's Razor
There are times when the Occam theory can be beneficial in trying to deduce unknown answers, but Einstein would also question the accuracy of "Positivism". It can be drawn up on the basis of biased opinion being prejudice when dealing with arguments such as the one you keep defending.
No Blue, I don't know Tim anymore than I knew Steve. And I personally don't think you do either. But no one needs to. They are two different people that command or commanded the very same company. The problem is, Apple was built and constructed around Steve Jobs by Steve Jobs. Not Tim Cook. Steve lived and breathed Apple and Apple followed Steve's every lead. History proves Apple couldn't survive without him. Apple brings him back and brought the company from the verge of bankruptsy to one of the most valuable companies in the world. It will take no less than the equivalent to keep it where it is.
I saw Apple's victory for what it was and defended them for the most part. It was evident that Samsung did closely copy. But in your other statement for evidence, I really don't care how many individuals stood in front of the judge to convince the court that so many Apple's intellect team had their hands in on projects to claim innovation. It was done to conclude a positive result. Apple has always had a great team. However, What template do they ultimately work from? Do I know what inner workings Apple deployed? Maybe not. But do you know by absolute fact as well? Are you claiming Steve had no vision or plans for his products? That it wasn't his dreams or concepts that Apple designed? Your watering down the point I'm trying to make. I'm calling it out that Steve controlled every aspect of product design from start to finish.Tim, on the other hand, may have been helpful in some areas of skimming the fat to help Apple prosper, but in the end as argued, Steve was the master. The prophet. The director of Apple's innovation. He was Apple. Tim is a figures man with an engineering degree but really no engineering accomplishments to . His claim to fame is closing departments within Apple that were not needed and filling in for Steve while he was sick. Apple is vulnerable anyway you seem fit to look at it. They are on the very top with a new leader with no vision to compare to Steve's. They better hope Tim's or anyone's insight will match Steve's. Do you have that same hope or are you going to defend Apple to no end? Every analyst, business expert and engineer is weighing in on the future success of Apple as it stands now. Without Steve Jobs, most predict its rise has peaked and will begin the descent.
Reviewing history, the Occam theory does not need to apply here.
