Well, the most famous example is when Apple sued Microsoft for copying 'the look and feel' of the Macintosh...then Xerox turned around and sued Apple for copying 'the look and feel' of their own computers....and the funny thing is there was a much stronger basis for the Xerox suit than there was for the Apple one....although ultimately both were dismissed, I think correctly...
