Even if they didn't intentionally infringe on patents owned by Apple, the only way to keep those phones on the market would be to either change the infringing parts or pay apple a cut of the financial pie that is after they pay the 1 Billion + they owe them. Personally if I were them, I would change the phones and then go over each and every new phone that they release with a very fine toothed comb.

Well I guess could be said of Apple. Motorola is suing them for a multitude of patent infringments. Motorola has tried to negotiate in good faith with Apple but Apple just keeps offering pittance compared to what Motorla is requesting.

So maybe Apple should start practicing what they preach.
