Too bad (for them) after all the fuss all they can do is ban 1-2 year old devices that aren't really sold much in stores anymore, and which will very likely be able to get around the ban in short order with a simple software update.
The $1B might sting a little, but having to carve away a few infringing effects from TouchWiz for a few devices nearing EOA probably won't.
